'Born to fight', la canción compuesta por el músico alemán Sascha Herchenbach en 2014 en honor a Michael Schumacher, se ha convertido en un proyecto solidario. El tema fue producido por Reemfilmmusic hace unas semanas y su autor aseguró en declaraciones a Speedweek que pretende donar la recaudación a investigaciones relacionadas con el cerebro y la médula espinal.
"Con esta canción queremos animar a la gente a seguir luchando y que no se rinda [...] Michael Schumacher ha vivido ese lema: has nacido para pelear ", explicó Herchenbach al medio alemán. Este gesto ha suscitado reacciones en el entorno del piloto. Corinna, su esposa, agradeció al artista que les haya ofrecido un "regalo muy bonito" que les ayudará "a superar este momento difícil".
El pasado 29 de diciembre se cumplió el segundo aniversario del accidente que Schumacher sufrió esquiando en los Alpes, y las informaciones sobre el estado de salud del Káiser siguen sin ver la luz. Por la red circulan diversos rumores que hablan de problemas económicos para la familia del piloto, cuyo tratamiento, de acuerdo con estas informaciones, sería difícil de sostener. En cualquier caso, no hay nada confirmado e impera el silencio por parte de fuentes oficiales.
